Navneet Goenka the CEO of Glitzkoin has a keen interest in child welfare. The recent charity event sponsored by Glitzkoin was organized at the, St. Catherine Of Siena School and Orphanage (Bombay India). The orphanage was set up over 60 years ago and provides accommodation, food, clothing and schooling to over 200 orphans and destitute children.
The event was organized with the help of Aarambh, an NGO operating for the welfare of women and children. Navneet Goenka was present at the occasion where, over 200 children were treated to their favorite snacks.
The event did not end with the distribution of snacks, Glitzkoin handed over a substantial donation to the orphanage. Rice grains, pulses and lentils that could be later cooked and given to the children, were donated. The donation also included a large number of bathing towels and napkins that, the children could use in their daily chores.
Talking about the event Navneet Goenka said, ‘… it is time that all of us made an effort to improve the lives of those around us. It does not take much of an effort to get things going. I sincerely hope that businesses, would play their small part in making the world a better place to live in …’.
